Harvest Mountain, Jordan (Elizabeth) Directed by the Holy Spirit, came to Jordan in 2021 with her Down Syndrome son, Derek. She came in obedience to the Heavenly Father's call and was directed to pray, serve and love the people of the Middle East. She purchased land in the Gilead province overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Holy Land. In the last 4 years she has poured ALL she has from her personal resources into “Harvest Mountain” in order to get the ministry to where it is today. God has instructed her to prepare a place of refuge for ‘the neighbours’ in the moment of Jacob’s Trouble (long-term). In the meantime, the Land serves as: -A house of prayer & strategic intercession for the Lord’s priorities. - In collaboration with Houses for Healing, we provides a transit station for Arab children with congenital heart conditions en route for life saving surgery in Israel accompanied by their parent. - Our hearts desire is to grow fruits & vegetables to help feed and supplement the poor and needy in our local communities. The property presently includes: - [x] A home with an down stairs attached 5 bedroom apartment (90% completion) - [x] an olive grove with 3 year old trees; - [x] an orchard of citrus & other fruit trees & grapevines; - [x] medicinal and vegetables gardens growing herbs - sage & thyme (zarar), chick peas, onions, cucumber & melons.

There are 3 matters which need urgent prayer: 1. For personal safety. Elizabeth’s existing security system has had a number of cameras disabled by “unfriendly” locals which include the previous owner of the property who physically assaulted her property manager and further threatened him with an automatic rifle on Elizabeth’s property, poisoned and killed her dogs and personally threatened Elizabeth’s life for which she has had to pay a ransom. 2. A water well/cistern and for the young olive trees during the summer months. This is an immediate financial need; The 140 olive trees are intended to provide supplemental revenue as they mature in order to help the ministry to become sustainable & a source of God’s blessing to all who are in need. However, after an unusually dry winter and the prospect of a long & hot summer the young trees and gardens are vulnerable. They need watering every 3 weeks & have been surviving (just) on the manual watering of occasional volunteers - a difficult & time-consuming task which requires digging around the base of each tree, watering & then later pushing back the soil. It is a task well beyond the physical capacity of Elizabeth & Derek. 3. Complete basement apartment. This 5 room apartment is designed to accommodate the sick children and their mothers en route for their life-saving surgeries as well as provide a separate living space for the intercessors who come to pray and serve at Harvest Mountain.
